What are the Web Excellence Awards?
The Web Excellence Awards (presented by the Web Academy of Digital Arts and Media) claim that their mission is to “set a high standard for creative, technical and professional projects and websites. They designed the awards to:
- Recognise and promote the creative ideas, business models and innovative technologies on the Web.
- Set high standards for digital projects and encourage industry to seek excellence.
- Provide a networking opportunity for agencies or freelancers for professional advancement.
- Inform users and industry about the constantly changing nature of digital media.
- Promote and acknowledge digital products across other technologies.”
They are a fully independent board consisting of web experts, communications specialists, advertisers, creative and marketing gurus, graphic designers, and academics focused on web science, marketing, and design, all of whom thought our website was superb!
