The Challenge

Cobalt Square on Birmingham's busy Hagley Road is a 17-storey office block, recently acquired by MCR Property Group. Keen to maximise the building’s potential, we worked with MCR to plan and execute a full Category A Office Fit Out project across 5 of these floors, alongside the refurbishment of all lift lobbies and numerous washrooms throughout the building.

Our Solution

We started by stripping out the existing 1970’s old fashioned interiors and suspended ceilings. A new raised floor was installed, followed by an underfloor power supply, redecoration and new lighting throughout. 
All doors were replaced with fire doors to the lift lobbies and staircases. Tea points were added on each floor.
A unique selling point of this office space over others in Birmingham is the advanced air conditioning and ventilation system we installed. The toilets were also stripped out and replaced with new cubicles, modern vanity islands and contemporary sanitary ware. 

The overall finish of the project we delivered was modern and contemporary which set MCR’s offering apart from other commercial rental properties in the city centre.
