The Challenge

Mills were in a space which didn't convey their brand effectively or support its staff - and clients - in the way they wished. However, when considering the refurbishment, they requested the space didn't become too up-market or luxurious, as it could potentially put off clients who were used to the more traditional values Mills portray.

Working within an existing footprint, Mills' Customer & Visitor Centre needed refreshing and taking to a whole new level. We put the brief to the team and here's what they came up with...

Our Solution

With the design revolving primarily around a feature gallery, we provided wall graphics, feature lighting and carefully chosen furniture to portray the environment Mills were after. Features including wall graphics remind visitors and staff of the company's core values - aligning them with the brand and it's commitments. The client-facing showroom space is flanked by a gallery including feature pendant lights and a bespoke table mirroring the contours of the gallery.

"We have recently modernised the ground and mezzanine floors of our Customer & Visitor Centre -  the results of which are stunning.

The refit was significant and complex, but Rhino’s strong project management and proactive communications meant it didn’t lose impetus or direction.

From original designs and selection of high-specification furniture and equipment through to building works and installation, Rhino delivered.

I'd have no hesitation in using Rhino Interiors again or recommending them to companies looking for a first-class workplace design solution.
