When Motorpoint wanted to create a call centre office design and fit-out that was ‘just right for their’ staff, they knew they were in safe hands.

Call centres are notoriously difficult places to keep a large number of staff happy and motivated, so when our Motorpoint client wanted a commercial design that was ‘just right for their staff’, we knew that we would need to get under the skin of the client’s business to understand the needs, likes and desires of the Motorpoint team.
As a Call Centre, there needed to be a high propensity of desks and individual workstations, as well as private meeting rooms, informal meeting points and staff welfare areas (dining spaces and breakout facilities).
The ground floor was developed to accommodate the directors offices, and other departments such as HR, IT, Marketing and Customer Relations, in a mixture of open plan office space and more traditional cellular offices.
At the heart of the bespoke office design are custom-made meeting pods which are based on a shipping container concept with glass sides, providing private meeting facilities but still integrated within the main office layout. The overall finish is a mixture of industrial, urban, stripped-back design interspersed with vibrant comfortable, relaxed seating.
The team think it's fantastic and from a commercial point of view the benefits are already evident by attracting the right calibre of staff and creating a feel-good factor and positive vibe amongst the team.
